At Austin County Water Supply Corporation, our goal is to provide safe, clean, sparkling water to all of our residents!
Austin County Water Supply Corporation (ACWSC) was incorporated in 1988 as a 501(c)(12) nonprofit corporation. ACWSC is not a department or political subdivision of Austin County and does not receive county tax revenue. It is a private, nonprofit water supply corporation that operates in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act and the Texas Open Meetings Act. The corporation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and administered by certified staff. ACWSC is regulated by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) and operates in compliance with all applicable state laws and rules governing water supply corporations.
